How is it possible that the same size doesn’t fit?
Barefoot moccasins combine elegant design with the natural sensation of walking and comfort. Many of our customers have encountered this issue, especially with new models. So, you might discover a similar problem. It’s quite common that the same size in different types of shoes suddenly doesn’t fit.
We most often find that the cause is in the sole.

We have two types of soles
All barefoot moccasins from Be Lenka are built on two types of soles:
- Be Lenka AlldayComfort
- Be Lenka EverydayComfort
These soles differ mainly in their design and intended purpose, but especially in width and length, which greatly influence how your shoes fit.

Be Lenka AlldayComfort – wider and longer sole
The AlldayComfort sole was developed based on extensive research into the anatomy of the female foot. It is wider and longer, which means it fits better for women with narrower feet or lower instep.
Characteristics:
- Ideal for wider feet
- Models with this sole are longer
- Great if you like to choose a smaller size
- Suitable for all-day wear
You can find this sole in our models:
Sophie, Bellissima, Viva, Delight, Rosalie, Florence

Be Lenka EverydayComfort – shorter and more compact sole
The EverydayComfort sole was created for everyday wear and movement, with a focus on comfort for narrower feet or higher instep. It is shorter, providing a snugger fit for these types of feet.
Characteristics:
- Ideal for narrower feet and higher instep
- Models may feel a bit shorter
- If the shoe pushes your toes in length, you may want this type of sole
Models with this sole:
Buena, Breeze, Easy Neo, Aphrodite

How to choose the right barefoot moccasins
- Find out which sole type the model you like has – information is on the product page.
- Consider the shape of your foot – if you have a wider foot or lower instep, look for models with the AlldayComfort sole, if you have a narrower foot or higher instep, EverydayComfort is likely better for you.
- Compare size charts – every model has its own chart; use this to avoid mistakes.
- Get inspired by a model you already own – if you’re happy with a certain model, choose the same type of sole.
- Don’t hesitate to contact our customer service – we’ll be happy to help you choose the right model and size.
Why does this matter?
Even the smallest difference in the sole can cause discomfort, for example, the shoes might rub your heel or put pressure on your instep. It’s not about shoe quality, but about compatibility with your foot shape. By understanding the difference between AlldayComfort and EverydayComfort, you’ll be able to choose exactly what fits your feet best in the future, like a tailor-made shoe.
